Boys Track&Field Open Outdoor Season with 104-28 Win Over Munster

The Boys Track and Field Team opened the outdoor portion of its season in impressive fashion Thursday night, defeating Munster 104-28 at home. The Bulldogs won 13 of the 16 varsity events scored in the meet and got strong performances across the board in their season opener. On the track, Crown Point got wins from Bobby Bond in the 100-meter dash, Logan Friedman in the 200, Landon Burnett in the 400, Jackson Zona in the 1600, Jake Metzger in the 3200, and Fletcher Dickinson in the 110-meter hurdles. The Bulldogs also swept the relays, winning the 4x100 with Jack Pulley, Caydon Smith, Bobby Bond, and Oscar Biasi, the 4x400 with Logan Friedman, Christian DeVany, Jake Baumann, and Landon Burnett, and the 4x800 with Austin Hunt, Brandon Kearns, Evan Kearns, and Bennett Miller. In the field events, Crown Point got victories from Nathan Drohosky in the high jump, Isaac Roman in the pole vault, Caydon Smith in the long jump, and Ayden Justak in the shot put. Full Results are attached The Bulldogs will open up competition within the DAC this Tuesday against Portage and Michigan City. This meet is at Portage High School and begins at 4:30 PM.
