The Girls' Soccer team fell to Homestead Friday night 7-1. Senior Brooklyn Rosenbaum scored the lone goal on a penalty kick drawn after Junior Ariana Schutt crossed to Freshman Cece Parker who took a kick to the face trying to head the ball in. Saturday's game against Northridge ended in a 1-1 tie after an early goal by Lily Maldonado on a feed from Ariana Schutt was canceled out by a late free kick goal from Northridge. JV won 4-0. Sophomore Nina Trevino scored 2 goals, Sophomore Claire Pesich had 1 goal, and Freshman Finley Maurer had the 4th in the win. Both teams return to action on Thursday night on the road at conference opponent Lake Central.
