Crown Point earned a 2-0 victory over Portage on September 2, 2026, in a game that was affected by challenging heat conditions. The start time was delayed because of the heat, and hydration breaks were taken during both halves. Crown Point dominated possession and created the majority of the scoring chances in the first half, but the Bulldogs and Indians went into halftime scoreless. Crown Point finally broke through in the second half when Maksim Tasevski finished a deflected shot from Aleks Mladenovski to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead. Tasevski struck again for his second goal of the match, connecting on a volley off a corner kick from Brody Kurtz to secure the 2-0 victory.
