Crown Point High School Athletics

The varsity cross country team came up one point shy of winning the Minutemen Classic this past Saturday. They ended up 3rd, with the top two teams tying just one point ahead. Mia Sargent led the team, with Genevieve St Clair, Avery Moore, Everly Pycraft, and Elizabeth Wartman rounding out the scoring. The junior varsity squad finished with a perfect score of 15 points, taking the first six spots in the reserve race. Emma Hornyak outkicked teammate Sophia Pietrzak for the top spot in the race. Mackenzie James, Myah Nelson, Riley Sherwood, and Ashley Wallace finished out the sweep for the Bulldogs.
