Crown Point fell short in a close DAC match at Lake Central on August 27, 2025, losing 2-1. Freshman Liam Bazin scored Crown Point’s lone goal on a breakaway in the first 45 seconds of the game, with senior Manny Baca contributing theassist that set up the scoring play. In goal, Edward Sundblad gave up both Lake Central goals over the first half, and Oliver Brewer came on in the second half, facing eight shots without allowing any further damage.
