Crown Point High School Athletics

Crown Point defeated Hammond Central 4-1 in a non-conference home match on September 20, 2025. After conceding an early goal, the Bulldogs responded with four unanswered, three of which came in the second half. Freshman B. Majstoroski, senior Brayden Kurtz, freshman Liam Bazin, and sophomore Maksim Tasevski each scored once, giving Crown Point a balanced attack. Senior goalkeeper Edward Sundblad came up with several key saves to secure the win. With the victory, the Bulldogs improved to 5-4-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play, while also increasing their season goal total to 32 with only 13 allowed. Crown Point now turns its attention to upcoming matches at Highland on September 22, at home against Valparaiso on September 24, and another home contest versus South Bend Saint Joseph on September 27.
